Product Manager Application and Cloud Security

Who we are looking for

The State Street Cyber Architecture & Engineering team is looking for a Product Manager to join the Security Architecture & Governance Engineering organization .

The Security Architecture & Governance Engineering teams deliver architectural solutions, platforms, pipelines, and security tooling to secure State Street’s digital footprint.

We are looking for established experience with establishing the vision, roadmap and technical direction of security solutions within either the cloud or application security areas.

You will interface with our IT partners across application development and architecture as well as internal business partners to drive adoption of solutions developed within the Security Architecture & Governance Engineering organization.

What you will be responsible for

  • You will help to build and execute our Cloud and Application security solution roadmap.
  • You will work with key stakeholders to develop the roadmap and deliver key business capabilities.
  • You will collaborate with Cloud and Application security colleagues to continuously improve Cloud and Application processes and tools.
  • You will work with our team, stakeholders, and teaming to understand the enterprise requirements and help shape the holistic technical solution that is both unique and best positioned.
  • You will evangelize our solutions to internal business customers and partners.

Qualifications

Minimum :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in industry, government, or consulting roles.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience building cloud-based security solutions
  • You are passionate about security and the associated tools and technology.
  • Experience writing requirements for engineering teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several projects or priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of personnel (executive to entry level).

Preferred :

  • Master’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (containers, Kubernetes, etc) is strongly desired
  • Experience with Information Security

Salary Range :

$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
