Position Description

The Nutrition Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sound nutrition advice within their scope of knowledge.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

• Perform all standard cash register transactions proficiently and accurately according to operational procedures including cash, debit card and credit card transactions.
• Fill professional recommendations for special diets and related equipment for customers.
• Demonstrate usage of feeding pumps and equipment assembly as required.
• Process ministry funded sales and paperwork as per guidelines.
• Assist in the receiving, merchandising, and rotation of products as per guidelines.
• Maintain efficient flow of merchandise from the stock rooms to the selling area.
• Advise Assistant Manager of any out of stock and / or shortages.
• Comply with and ensure all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established guidelines.
• Have a clear understanding of the operation’s workflow and priorities.
• Provide efficient and pleasant customer service in-store and by telephone.
• Keep abreast of changing nutritional needs of the patients and products in the industry.
• Train employees on job functions.
