Join our Burnaby government healthcare client and play a pivotal role in transforming health care in British Columbia. We are currently seeking a seasoned Site Lead / Senior Project Manager to guide and execute a wide array of project activations such as site deployments and CRM initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project(s) and coordinate efforts to achieve project objectives
  • Collaborate with clinics, hospital staff, physicians, and other stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, Health Authorities, Doctors of BC, and vendors, to ensure project success
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining open communication, and managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks proactively to mitigate potential negative impacts on project outcomes
  • Coordinate and chair project meetings, facilitating effective communication among project resources, and documenting findings and recommendations
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and relevant committees on project progress
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records, to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Manage project scope changes and obtain necessary approvals
  • Control project financials, resource usage, issues, and risks
  • Escalate significant issues and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Perform project management processes in accordance with PMO standards
  • Adapt to changing project needs and priorities, contributing to the success of various delivery projects within the portfolio

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years' recent, related experience in project management and facilitating consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups, including the vendor community
  • Extensive experience communicating with clinical / non-clinical staff, senior leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple Agile projects simultaneously
  • Proven leadership abilities and a strong track record
  • Forward-thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of how various technologies fit together in a provincial health ecosystem to deliver services
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing project needs and priorities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
  • Experience working in BC Health Authorities considered an asset
  • Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR systems considered a strong asset
