Platform Analyst/Cloud Engineer

Our Federal Government client is offering a fully remote contract role for an experienced DevOps (Azure) Engineer to assist with data sharing of service-related data and insights.

10 month contract and fully remote

Responsibilities

1. Design, build and implement CI / CD pipelines to manage and automate code builds, deployments, testing and code quality check.

2. Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes to automate the deployment and configuration of ADF pipelines, SSDT SQL projects, Synapse Sparks Notebooks.

3. Assess and identify areas of improvements in the departments existing DevOps practices and recommend possible solutions for remediation.

4. Perform and manage scheduled deployments, as required.

5. Work with development teams to ensure that ADF pipelines, SQL projects, Synapse Spark Notebooks are deployed in a consistent, repeatable, and reliable manner.

6. Advocate DevOps and automation best practices, including code management and compliance.

Qualifications

Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance at the Enhanced Level

Azure Experience

CI / CD pipeline experience

Infrastructure experience and knowledge
