About The Role :

The Learning Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Learning & Development (L&D) team by coordinating and administering various established L&D transactions.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our training programs and maintaining data integrity within our learning technology platforms.

This is a six month contract role from July 2024 January 2025 . If you are a detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organizational skills, and a passion for learning and development, we encourage you to apply.

Workplace Arrangements : This role is hybrid from our Ottawa Walkley Road Office. In-office days will be for the purpose of delivering training sessions in person.

Learning Coordinator, Job Highlights

  • Assist with Learning & Development (L&D) team projects, as assigned.
  • Update courses in Articulate Rise and assign via programs and campaigns in Workday Learning.
  • Coordinate (e.g., preparing materials, scheduling, meal planning) and help deliver L&D training sessions.
  • Project manage and launch yearly mandatory training.
  • Monitor the training email inbox and support stakeholders / redirect inquiries as needed, escalating complex inquiries to manager.
  • Update learner data in learning technology platforms to maintain data integrity, as well as maintain the organization's Learning Catalogue.
  • Produce training reports and share with stakeholders accordingly.
  • Make recommendations, informed by internal / external best practices and experience, for more efficient and effective monitoring, coordinating, and generating related tasks in L&D team.

Learning Coordinator, Job Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English : listening, communicating (verbal and written).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Works well independently and with a team.
  • Quick learner, especially in terms of technology platforms and processes.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
