Role Description
This is an on-site role located in Vancouver, BC for a Project Business Analyst, responsible for conducting primary business analysis (not secondary) and initial project execution.
This candidate has steadfast values, effective communication, strong work ethics, and a desire to grow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research into business opportunities (eg. speaking with industry incumbents, professions, buyers, and other stakeholders)
- Create financial models to calculate business opportunity size
- Create realistic initial execute plan to gain understanding of project scope and undertaking
- Execute initial plan to measure against market realities
- Report to team about findings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business analysis and project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Unafraid to pick up the phone
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies
Assets
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proficiency in another language, preferably Traditional Mandarin
