We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer / Logistics professional to support our client's materials procurement and logistics operations. They are a leading Canadian manufacturer with a strong client base across the country. This position supports their main production facility and associated distribution channels across Canada. This role involves managing both recurring supply orders and identifying new material sources, while also coordinating inbound and outbound freight logistics across diverse locations.

Responsibilities Include :

• Coordinating the acquisition of materials required for production and distribution
• Reordering standard items through established vendor relationships
• Researching and evaluating potential new suppliers to meet evolving needs
• Organizing transportation logistics for both incoming raw materials and outbound shipments to clients, ranging from single-unit to bulk orders
• Strategizing to reduce shipping and transportation expenses across regions
• Liaising with internal departments (such as Finance) on matters related to inventory tracking, pricing updates, and product listing accuracy
• Supporting the President with occasional special projects, including coordinating travel and handling general administrative tasks as needed
