Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Leadership Development Consultant to join their team on a one-year contract on an as-and-when-required basis (75 hours / month) .

A hybrid work schedule will be at the discretion of the client.

You'll support the careers department in developing succession planning and talent management policies and programs in Ottawa.

About you

To succeed in this role, you'll need :

• 10+ years of experience in leadership development and career management
• 2+ years of experience providing innovative solutions in career management, succession planning, performance appraisal, and leader development
• High level of proficiency in English writing
• Proficiency in French
• Bachelor's degree
• To be a Canadian citizen who has or is able to acquire a Reliability-level security clearance

• Develop leadership improvement & mentorship programs
• Implement a talent management system that provides opportunities across the organization with a special scope for women early in their careers.
• Analyze leadership skills (strengths and weaknesses) for talent management
• Strategize talent management according to succession readiness
• Integrate Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus)
