Human Resources Administrator - Corporate Office, Halifax

We are currently seeking a well-organized and motivated individual to join our Human Resources department. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrator will play a key role in ensuring administrative functions are accomplished to aid in overall departmental productivity and success.
What you will do :
- Prepare employment letters, and other internal communications
- Prepare speaking notes, PowerPoint presentations, and other presentation material
- Provide administrative support and scheduling for meetings, travel, and events
- Field inquiries from employees relating to HR programs and services
- Maintain strong documentation practices and procedures
- Coordinate volunteer and community giving programs
- Organize and store electronic employee records and files
- Administer annual & probationary performance reviews
- Support / coordinate special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Who you are :
- Business Degree, Office Administration Diploma, or equivalent
- Previous administrative experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated professional handling of confidential information
