The QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion Program (HIEP) is a 1.2 million square foot expansion of the Province of Nova Scotia’s existing QEII campus, being completed under a complex P3 contract structure. PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is collaborating with multiple partners from across the country to undertake the single largest healthcare infrastructure project considered in Nova Scotia. As a complex mega project, PCL is assembling a team of experienced construction professionals that will be dedicated to the completion of the project.
As a Project Administrative Assistant for our QEII Project Team, you will contribute to our team by :
Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks for manager, department, or team.
- Develop and maintains customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Answer telephone calls and takes messages for manager, department, or team members.
- Ensure appropriate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents and reports for district office.
- Manage email and calendars on behalf of others.
- Assist with planning meetings and events, including arranging for catering, booking locations, and distributing information.
- Arrange travel, hotel, and car reservations and preparing travel itinerary.
- Order office supplies for department as requested.
- Support mail distribution and courier requests.
- Greet visitors and answering their questions, directing them to meeting rooms, and connects them with employees.
- Mentor and coache entry level administrative support staff when required.
