Job Description

We are seeking an Office Support professional to join our Facilities team in Winnipeg, MB.

The Office Support individual will be responsible for the sorting, scanning, and distribution of incoming mail and couriers to different business units.

Additionally, they will prepare and process outbound mail and drop off mail at the mailbox at the end of the day. This role will also provide general and back up support to the Guest Services and Access Control Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be energetic, organized, detail-oriented, and will play an important role in ensuring a great experience for our staff every day.

The Office Support professional will :

  • Receive, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and courier items.
  • Provide general support and back up to the Access Control & Guest Services Coordinator, assisting with the handling of outbound mail and courier items for pick up at day's end, while also recording shipment details in the log.
  • Handle the mail drop off at the Canada Post facility, pick-up registered letters at the post office, and manage return mail.
  • Maintain postage and execute the monthly reporting of postage usage.
  • Assist with the sending and receiving of courier packages.
  • Ensure cheques and financial statements are scanned and added to the weekly spread sheet.
  • Maintain and order office and facilities supplies.
  • Manage and reconcile office expenses and corporate credit card / accounts as needed.
  • Provide administrative, event, and project support to the leadership team and staff to meet business needs as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

To be successful as an Office Support professional with People Corporation, you will need :

  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for travel to different locations as needed.
  • Strong prioritization skills; proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • To work within a team and display a collaborative attitude.
  • The ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence.

All-star candidates will have :

  • Previous work experience in the real estate, property management, or facilities management industries.
  • Experience using Concur and Eptura software.
