Your focus will be on driving multi-faceted, marketing campaigns all-the-while leading and inspiring a high-performing team.

This role will report to the Senior Director, National Marketing, Leasing and Resident Experience. Your leadership will directly support existing and continued growth of our business in Canada.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the marketing, leasing and client management for two new residential development communities. Includes agency management, team leadership, strategic planning and execution of multi-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Responsible for assigned National residential portfolio, inclusive of approximately 30 properties that are in active lease up, newly stabilized and legacy communities.

Work alongside existing Marketing Manager, Leasing Specialist and Marketing Coordinator to inspire teams with the objective of minimizing vacancy and optimizing revenue.

  • Work alongside senior-leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive deliverables.
  • Oversee National vendor relationships, inclusive of digital agency, website, rental listing sites.
  • Strategic oversight of monthly client reports presented to senior-level clients and internal stakeholders. Ability to distil data and tell compelling stories.
  • Lead strategic planning and budget building for assigned portfolio.
  • Responsible for strategic oversight of leasing workflow alongside National Leasing Specialist, with the objective of providing an elevated and industry-leading customer-centric leasing experience.
  • As a people leader, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with BGO’s global corporate communications team on major campaigns including company-wide initiatives related to philanthropy, public affairs and employee engagement.

Who you are :

  • University degree or diploma in related area (marketing, public relations, advertising or business administration).
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience preferably in a commercial real estate environment, with people leadership experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment. Must be able to manage multiple projects with competing timelines.
  • Established agency management experience, with the ability to lead and execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of digital and social media strategy, and experience with developing and overseeing the production of web-based content.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain productive and cooperative working relationships at all levels;

ability to exercise confidentiality; committed to building relationships with industry peers and trade associations.

  • Solutions-oriented, resilient, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability for frequent out-of-town travel (30%).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license at all times during employment.
  • Police Clearance : A criminal verification check is required for employment
