Your new company Hays has partnered with one of Canada's largest industrial developers who have been developing across Canada and in some parts of the US for more than 60 years.
They have an office in Toronto and are looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team to help with the administration and management of their industrial projects across the city.
Your new role The open role is for an experienced Project Coordinator to work with the Project Management team and external consultant team from design and building permit coordination through to project completion.
This individual will monitor construction performance including all aspects of pre-construction and construction involving, planning, scheduling, administration of contractors, supervision and project reporting.
They will assist with budgets and prepare any necessary tender packages along with attending any project meetings as required.
What you'll need to succeed The successful Project Coordinator (Industrial) will have at least 2 3 years of relevant work experience in industrial or institutional construction in the Greater Toronto Area.
They will have a technical diploma or degree in a related field and be an exceptional communicator both orally and written.
The Project Coordinator will have a passion for construction and project management, be able to handle a large workload, multitask and prioritize, and have an overall strong work ethic with a high attention to detail.
Finally, this individual will be able to travel (driver's license) across the GTA with their own vehicle when needed. What you'll get in return The successful Project Coordinator will receive a base salary, opportunities for advancement, vacation, benefits, etc.
