- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale institutional development projects , ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee all phases of project development, including design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor construction progress, addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, including Occupational Health and Safety legislation and building codes.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and a high level of client satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain best practices in project management, risk management, and quality control.
- Promote the use of LEED principles in the design and construction phases to support sustainable building practices.

- Proven experience as a Project Manager on multiple high-value institutional development projects (e.g., hospitals, universities, government buildings).
- Education : A degree or diploma in construction management , engineering , or a related field is mandatory .
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and processes specific to institutional projects.
- Familiarity with provincial and federal regulations , particularly in the institutional sector.
- Certifications : Preferred certifications include Gold Seal Certification , Project Management Professional (PMP) , and LEED accreditation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project , Primavera , or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
