We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our Real-World Data Team in North America. As an embedded QA Engineer within the RWD team, you will collaborate closely with members across various RWD teams to ensure that quality is deeply integrated into every stage of data journey.
This includes overseeing data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, processing and final delivery processes.
About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent, relevant experience
- 8+ years of relevant QA technical experience with focus on Data Management Testing

- Strong experience with ETL / Data platform-based testing strategies.
- Hands on experience with automation frameworks.
- Working experience with Python or similar language
- Strong SQL working experience.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, methodologies, and processes tailored to the unique requirements of data products and services.
- Create and maintain test automation that is reusable, maintainable, and scalable.
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to identify and address data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate data processing workflows, algorithms, and analytics.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and security testing to assess the stability of, scalability, and security of data systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to understand requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and communicate test results effectively.
- Document test plans, test results, and compliance reports for auditing and regulatory compliance purposes. Provide stakeholders with regular updates, metrics, and insights on QA activities and data quality metrics.
- Investigate production issues and recommend possible solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to facilitate continuous enhancements to QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Hours of Work
- Full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
- Hybrid position working 2-3 days / week on-site
