What Is The Opportunity?
The Digital Quality Engineering team is supporting multiple initiatives to enhance and protect both RBC and our clients with the highest standards of safety & security.
As a Senior Quality Engineer in the 'Digital Quality Engineering' team, you will be supporting the QE team to enhance / implement automation tests within the squad along with supporting day to day testing activities.
What Will You Do?
Drive E2E testing on journey Originating features to ensure product groups deliver with High Quality.
Drive High Quality practices, delivering with speed and accuracy. Work closely with Dev partners for pair testing and focus on Squad / POD models.
Must have knowledge and experience in building Test Strategies / Plans; Must have strong knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps.
Experienced Professional Role with In-depth Knowledge and experience in QE Concepts and services including Service / API and UI Automation.
Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed.
Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.
Identify and report to product teams questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies.
Document and mentor QE engineers in the use of the testing framework; Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development.
Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the QE process.
What Do You Need To Succeed?
Must have :
Must have 9+ years of Strong QE and Automation Experience
Candidate must have strong Quality Engineering, Automation & DevOps tools skills which includes GIT, Jenkins, Docker.
Must have experience in building automation frameworks for web-based and API to aid with regression and other repeatable tests.
Good Experience / understating on Java, OOP, Postman and Ready API
Must have knowledge and experience in building Test Strategies / Plans.
Ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes and Ability to work independently and in a team-based setting.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should have good experience in working closely with Dev partners for pair testing and focus on pyramid model of testing coverage.
Nice-to-have :
Prior experience working in a bank or financial institution.
QE related certification. E.g. ISTQB, Agile testing, Mobile Testing etc.
Mobile Automation experience
