Senior Quality Engineer

What is the opportunity for?

The Operational Effectiveness team within Personal and Commercial Operations offers the opportunity to develop unique solutions to support and maximize operational efficiencies across P&CB. We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer with strong technical skills to help us build out our testing strategy and methodology. You will  contribute to modernization and resiliency of suite of BMA applications and drive quality and champion defect prevention / early defect detection.  The role will partner with lines of business to schedule and facilitate user acceptance testing, coordinating and documenting test results and will be responsible for the end-to-end tracking of all issues found.   Liaising with the other development team members, you will embrace engineering principles, identify and use modern testing tools, optimize testing preparation and execution through test technics and automation script support.

What will you do?

• Define test strategies and work with project teams in execution of those across application lifecycle
• Utilize QE processes and tools covering E2E functional and non-functional program requirements in coordination with, and connecting to, the different squads involved in the release train
• Assist development team with issue investigation and root cause analysis
• Follow defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and framework
• Work with stakeholders to coordinate UAT / PIV test results and track system issues to resolution
• Provide functional workflows, test data, and support to performance testing
