Our client a reputable company is looking to add a Payroll administrator on a full time basis to their current team. Located at the border of Mississauga and Oakville.
The role provides is in office and provides 2 weeks vacation, 10 personal days, 3 sick days, Full benefits covered by employer, 3% RRSP matching
Responsibilities include :
- Preparation and full-cycle processing of biweekly hourly and salary payroll.
- Inputting new hires, leaves, terminations, pay, and vacation adjustments.
- Process ROEs and garnishments and prepare payroll reconciliation report.
- Timely processing of all worker's compensation remittances and reports.
- Ensure company compliance with Canada Labour Code legislation.
- Support with year-end processing and reporting.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- SSTD & LTD claims management.
- Responsible for updating all policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures for payroll.
- Provide instructions to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, T4, etc.
- Prepare and create various management reports and analysis.
- Manage monthly billings from insurance providers and other vendors, including review of billings for accuracy.
- Process month-end payments for benefits, pensions, RRSP, etc.
- Support the Human Resource team with ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of payroll administration experience.
- PCP is highly preferred.
- Payroll Software experience required experience using UKG Pro is preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results independently while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
