- Lead the Preconstruction process for the company!This established, Top Tier GC with a proven history of delivering complex construction projects across various sectors including : Commercial, High-Rise, Healthcare & Education, are seeking their Preconstruction Director with a background in bidding projects with values from $230M-$500M+.
- Design Build or Lump Sum experience is preferred.You would work on large-scale projects, ranging from $1.5M to $1B+, whilst working closely with the proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project successThe role involves : Leading the overall preconstruction process including bidding, takeoffs, cost estimates, budget analysis and supporting proposalsOverseeing and continuously building the entire Estimating team, to support three key departmentsBeing an integral part of the leadership team, providing valuable estimating expertise to the teamSupporting the business development process and playing a lead role in selecting opportunities for the Toronto Region to pursueExperience needed : 10-15 years’ experienceA track record of winning ICI or High-Rise workDesign Build or Lump Sum experience is preferredExperience in the pursuit of P3 projects is very desirableThe ability to manage local sub trade relationshipsThis is a true seat at the table’ type of position, where you can directly influence what the company bids on and ultimately the business outcome;
