Summary of Position :

The Parts Advisor is a critical role in producing revenue for the parts department. You'll be stationed at a dedicated workstation, managing assigned revenue channels.

Your primary duties encompass timely communication of delayed parts, exceptional support to internal and external clients, and ensuring adherence to parts deadlines and guidelines.

Additionally, you'll actively contribute to the accuracy of our inventory, report discrepancies to our management team, and participate in keeping the department organized.

You'll collaborate with other department team members and participate in new tasks assigned by the management team.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

Communication :

  • Monitor the status of parts orders and proactively update clients.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite delayed orders to minimize disruption.
  • Provide weekly or daily updates to internal and external clients.

Support :

  • Address internal departments and external clients' inquiries promptly and professionally, adhering to the department's guidelines and policies.
  • Provide accurate information when identifying and sourcing parts, accessories, and tires.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify new revenue sources and products.

Fulfillment :

  • Monitor and collaborate with the management of procurement delays.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to guarantee the timely fulfillment of order delivery dates.

Inventory :

  • Update inventory records to ensure outbound and inbound goods are recorded in the department's DMS.
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Report discrepancies to the management team for resolution.
  • Ensure the workspace is clean and organized.

Job Qualification Requirements :

  • Previous experience as a parts advisor or provincial certification in parts technician, and in-depth knowledge of parts department.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with solid customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with software systems including Reynolds Ignite, S-Gate, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Compensation : $55,000 - $75,000 per year.

Work Environment :

7 : 30 am 6 : 00 pm, Monday - Saturday
