What is the role?
The Senior Franchise Billing Clerk is responsible for daily writing of franchise pre-authorized cheques, preparation of the bank deposit, checking the accuracy of billing adjustment before posting, preparing initial and final billings for stores that turnover (buyback, resales, franchise takeover, closings and openings).
What will you do?
- Preparation of initial and final billing related to store resales / buyback or brand new stores
- Log-in and writing of pre-authorized franchise cheques
- Preparation of bank deposit
- Posting of billing adjustments (Load discrepancy, Refused Goods, Write-off & Spoilage and Authorized Returns)
- Posting of Weekly Sales and Purchase Report
- Processing gift certificate issuance and redemptions for franchise and corporate stores
- Process Write-off & spoilage adjustments for POS stores
- Preparation of Weekly Corporate Store Purchase summary
- Check and adjust PLD information for POS write-offs
- Audit of Store Year End inventory for odd items / qty that require follow-up
What will you need to succeed?
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma
- 1 year of administrative office work experience with some exposure to accounting preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Data entry skills
- Familiarity with calculators
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
