HDD DRILLER - TELECOM

We are looking for competent and experienced HDD Driller to work on drilling projects in the Red Deer area. The successful candidates will be determined by their experience and attitude toward working in demanding environments with long hours. RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide some idea of the tasks you may be performing a list of responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Read and understand drawings construct forms and rebar reinforcement as per project specifications;
• Executing field projects according to instructions provided by the client project manager and the field supervisor;
• Read and interpret plans locates or diagrams and perform required work;
• Locator and Drill Operator will work together to operate the directional drill to place cables and / or conduit;
• Drill to specifications on maps and in accordance with the bore path;
• Communicate with the locator to determine bore path prior to drilling;
• Participate in site safety including pre-job orientations tailgate meetings ensure all safety paperwork is accurate and complete;
• Responsible for ensuring permits are valid and completing drilling specific documentation;
• Work with minimal supervision and direction;
• Follow all safety and quality control procedures;
• Read and interpret plans locates or diagrams and perform required work;
• Other drilling / labor tasks as needed.
