About the Role

VitaminLab is a fast-scaling health-tech company specializing in personalized, on-demand manufactured supplements. Our proprietary software platform manages everything from formulation and fulfillment to practitioner management and e-commerce.

We seek a VP of Software Engineering to lead, stabilize, and scale our technology systems. This role involves cleaning up legacy code, strengthening infrastructure, and building a foundation for innovation.

You will drive technical execution, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include managing engineering teams, overseeing code quality and architecture, and partnering with leadership to deliver critical features. You will also help plan the technology vision and develop a strategy for a scalable, secure future, communicating effectively with varied stakeholders and developing business cases to support recommendations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set the long-term technology vision and architecture for the company.
• Lead and scale the engineering organization : hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing team (software, data, automation, and DevOps).
• Stabilize and modernize the existing tech stack; reduce technical debt and legacy dependencies.
• Oversee development of proprietary systems, including :

Formulation engine & personalization logic

Preference is for Victoria / Vancouver-based candidates, but we are remote / hybrid friendly.

Compensation :

Base Pay Range : $125,000 - $150,000 / annually.

This role may include eligibility for a competitive performance-based bonus structure designed to reward growth, leadership, and impact.
