Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, and maintaining complex industrial machinery.
This role requires the ability to interpret technical diagrams, use precision measurement tools, and perform critical troubleshooting to ensure optimal production performance.

Location: Cambridge
Position: Millwright - with a valid 433a license
Shift: Straight Afternoons
OT past 40 + DT on Sunday's
Payrate: $43-$45 - depending on experience

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings independently.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility buildings and specialized production equipment.
Machine Operation: Efficiently operate all machine shop equipment and work to close tolerances.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime.
Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all records and logs associated with job functions.
Leadership & Safety: Instruct and assist helpers on related tasks while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.

Tools & Technology Used
Precision Tools: Hand and power tools, alignment tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Lifting: Heavy lifting and rigging equipment.
Software: Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Safety: Full PPE (helmets, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection).

Qualifications
Required Skills & Expertise
Certification: Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license is required.
Technical Proficiency: Self-sufficient in welding, fitting, layout, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical systems, and crane/rigging operations.
Continuous Learning: Commitment to updating skills in line with changing industry technology and standards.
Compliance: Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
