The Territory Representative opportunity delivers a comprehensive cleaning and sanitation program developed specifically for the QSR industry, partnering with our customers to identify cleaning & sanitation opportunities and help make their environments Cleaner, Safer, and Healthier.

The Territory Representative role manages a territory of customers in the QSR sector and is responsible for the following:

  • Install, maintain, and repair chemical dispensing, dishwasher, and water filtration systems (prior experience not required) to ensure proper function and appearance

  • Providing customers with feedback and training on cleaning and sanitation through high quality surveys

  • Growing sales and retaining existing customers by merchandizing solutions and providing service excellence

  • Completing Value Visit surveys based on the customer’s required visit frequency (semi-annual, annual, or quarterly) and providing feedback and coaching to support store needs

  • Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products by making suggestions for improvements with existing products and new innovations

  • Complete the Serv-Safe training and become certified

  • Developing and enhancing existing relationships with customers while working independently and maintaining your own schedule

Position Details:

This is a field-based position and will require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas:

Territory: Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, North York and the surrounding areas

Applicants must live in the territory (or close surrounding areas)

Overnight Travel: None

Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekend coverage based on customer needs (once every 15 weeks)

Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms. Total expected compensation is in the range of $58,700-$73,900.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma. Post-secondary education preferred

  • 1-2 years of food industry experience preferred. New graduates welcome!

  • Mechanical aptitude in plumbing, electrical and mechanical work would be considered an asset

  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

  • Availability to provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays

  • Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

Physical Demands: Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly
