Job description
Adecco is currently hiring an HR Generalist for a full-time, 6-month contract position in Langley, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a confident and hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable operating as the sole HR representative on-site.
As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting recruitment, and acting as the primary point of contact for employees and leadership. You will play a key role in maintaining HR processes, supporting performance management, and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.
  • Pay Rate: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
  • Location: Langley, BC (fully onsite)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Contract: Temporary (6 months)
  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, including partnering with hiring managers on staffing needs and onboarding
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and management
  • Support performance management processes and assist with disciplinary meetings led by Operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation
  • Oversee timecard management and collaborate with the Controller for payroll coordination
  • Maintain and support existing HR systems, including ADP HRIS for administration and recordkeeping
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations in a standalone capacity
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and support a collaborative workplace culture
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehousing, or production environments
  • Strong educational background in Human Resources may be considered with slightly less experience
  • Proven ability to work independently in a standalone HR role
  • Comfortable managing multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, approachable, and able to build trust quickly with employees and leadership
  • Experience with ADP HRIS or similar systems is an asset
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
