Reporting to the Fire and SAS Director of Sales, the Senior Regional Sales Manager will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for Honeywell Enterprise Fire business throughout Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB, YT, NU, NT). This role presents an opportunity to partner with our robust network of NOTIFIER Engineered System Distributors (ESDs) and Western Honeywell Building Solution branches to jointly drive the growth of the Honeywell Enterprise Fire brand to the next level in this territory.

You will build relationships and understand your channel partners’ needs in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy with your channel partners while aligning with the critical sales business objectives of Honeywell Commercial Fire. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with channel partners, consultants, and potential end customers.

You will utilize your past experience and deep Honeywell Fire offering knowledge to deliver compelling value propositions to customers. Your mission is to develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in your designated accounts and territory. We seek someone who strives for continuous improvement and is a revenue and change maker anxious to join a premiere Sales Organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and guiding Honeywell Enterprise Fire Channel Sales Activities - provide Customer Support – to meet or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Developing and implementing strategic Territory Management Plans and individual Account / Opportunity Plans
  • Generating demand, identifying opportunities, creating value propositions including end-customers, consultants, key industry influencers and ESDs visits and associated status reports
  • Serving as the technical and application expert for Honeywell Enterprise Fire brands in Western Canada
  • Analyzing growth opportunities and regional expansions and identifying product development needs specific to the market served
  • Develop and champion best-in-class sales training for channel partners and installers
  • Building a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, industry players, trends, competitive strategies, technologies, standards, regulations, and economics
  • Commercializing and communicating new product launches, including value propositions, product bulletins, competitive analyses, datasheets, sales tools, and marcom / promotional activities
  • Engaging in customer-facing activities, trade shows, seminars etc.
  • Populating and maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline in

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Post-secondary education preferably in electrical engineering/IT/fire alarm system
  • 5+ years of experience in account management in the fire alarm and life safety industry
  • Valid Drivers' License

  • A broad knowledge of principles and best practices in channel sales and/or account management field
