Job description

About Pillway

Pillway isn't just a pharmacy, we're a healthcare technology company at the forefront of the industry. We are revolutionizing patient medication management through cutting edge technology, creating a truly seamless and patient-first experience. Join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacy services in a high growth, innovative environment.

Job Summary

Launch your product career as a Technical Product Manager and impact our growing team at the Brampton office. This role is the perfect accelerator for someone early in their career who brings a strong technical foundation and thrives on close collaboration with engineers. If you actively keep yourself updated on AI and emerging technology trends, you'll be a great fit. You will be empowered to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, drive execution alongside our engineering partners, and quickly take ownership of product features within a dynamic, fast paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs and user pain points into crystal clear technical requirements and compelling user stories.
  • Work hand-in-hand with engineers to align on APIs, data structures, and trade-offs for a seamless build.
  • Maintain and ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog, securing sign-off from senior Product Managers.
  • Be a proactive, vital player in all Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Define precise acceptance criteria and support QA to guarantee a flawless, high-quality product launch.
  • Provide hands-on support for ambitious roadmap delivery, strategic release planning, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, and complex edge cases before they impact the timeline.
  • Track feature performance post launch, leveraging data to fuel continuous product improvements and drive user value.
  • Stay ahead of AI, automation, and emerging tech trends, sharing critical insights that will future-proof the product vision.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of fast-track experience in Product Management, Engineering, or an allied technical role.
  • Know the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) inside and out, with a solid grasp of APIs, backend systems, and mobile / web application architecture.
  • Genuinely interested in AI, machine learning, and automation, and actively follow industry trends.
  • Highly comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and diving into technical specifications.
  • Your verbal and written skills are top-tier, making complex ideas simple and persuasive.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and possess an inherent eagerness to constantly learn and improve.
  • Must be able to work full-time from our Brampton headquarters.
  • Nice to Have

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is a great plus.
  • Exposure to AI-powered products, tools, or workflows is welcome (hands-on experience is not a strict requirement).
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies for efficient team operation.
  • Experience with key product and development tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, or basic SQL.
  • Valuable experience working in a startup or other fast-paced team environment.
  • Why Join Us

  • Dive into the vital intersection of cutting edge technology and patient care in a rapidly innovating company that is genuinely revolutionizing medication management.
  • Experience explosive growth in a dynamic startup environment with a clear, defined path to senior leadership roles.
  • Gain direct, high value mentorship from senior product and engineering leaders, working elbow-to-elbow with decision makers from day one to master the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Don't just contribute, take high ownership of your features and drive real, measurable, and profound impact on the product and our mission.
  • Thrive in a high energy, collaborative team environment where we fuel innovation by championing curiosity, learning, and shared success.
  • Secure a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package that truly recognizes your expertise and high commitment.
  • We are an inclusive employer and provide accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process. Please let us know if you require accommodation.
