Job description

Be part of the evolution of car sharing built for British Columbians. Created by BCAA, Evo Car Share is the next generation of mobility, providing Members with the freedom to explore BC and get from here to there with room for their friends and their gear.

BCAA has been recognized for the last five years as a Top Employer. Joining Evo means joining one of the most trusted organizations in BC. If you want to make a difference and shape the future of BC’s car sharing economy, join our Evo team.

Are you a night owl with a passion for operational excellence? Join our team and help keep Evo Car Share moving, literally.

We are looking for a night shift Temporary Full-Time Fleet Support Services Coordinator (Remote), working overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

As a Fleet Support Services Coordinator, you’ll play a hands-on role in making sure our vehicles are clean, fueled, charged, and ready to roll for our members each morning. Working remotely, you’ll be the key point of contact between Evo and our third-party vendors, ensuring every car in our fleet meets the high standards our members count on.

This role is all about behind-the-scenes impact - supporting night-time fleet operations, maintaining safety and quality, and helping Evo continue to be BC’s most convenient and reliable car sharing service. If you're organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a mission that keeps our city moving, we want to hear from you.

Who you are:

  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, with experience in reporting and documentation

  • You excel at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing your time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • You pay close attention to detail and approach problems with strong analytical skills

  • You can interpret and explain moderate to complex operational data in a way others can easily understand

  • You work well independently and enjoy collaborating with a team, even when the pressure is on

  • You take initiative and build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners through your interpersonal skills

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary contact between internal fleet teams and third-party vendors

  • Coordinate and oversee nightly schedules for fueling, EV charging, cleaning, and vehicle relocations

  • Track and validate vendor service truck movements to ensure smooth operations

  • Conduct spot checks on vehicles to confirm fueling accuracy, charge levels, cleanliness, and readiness

  • Monitor safety compliance and report any incidents, hazards, or irregularities promptly

  • Maintain detailed records of vendor activities, service logs, and any operational issues that arise overnight

  • Prepare and deliver nightly summary reports on service metrics, exceptions, and completed tasks

  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies or equipment issues related to fueling, charging, or delays

  • Support continuous improvements in vendor performance and operational processes

  • Assign and dispatch tasks to support team members based on priority and fleet needs

  • Update and manage the back-office system (e.g., Vulog) with completed work and vehicle statuses

  • Coordinate daily reconciliation of fuel cards, staff expenses, and receipt logs

  • Ensure team members have necessary supplies and escalate equipment issues as needed

  • Work closely with the Support Team Lead to maintain adequate staffing coverage

  • Provide in-field operational support when required, including vehicle relocation or basic fueling

  • Complete additional administrative and operational duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within the automotive industry

  • Dispatching experience is a strong asset

  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM

  • Experience in fleet operations, logistics coordination, or a related field is preferred

  • Working knowledge of fueling, EV charging, or vehicle maintenance is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook, along with basic data entry skills

  • Flexibility and willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Shape your future with us. We’ve got you covered.

  • Every day, our team members get to make a difference in the lives of British Columbians, our BCAA Members and their communities. Having that kind of impact is exciting, positive, and contagious.

  • At Evo Car Share, we pride ourselves on empowering our team members to do great work. We enthusiastically support all learning and growth opportunities.

  • Career advancement and personal development programs are available to help you reach your full potential, no matter what that means to you.

  • You’ll receive a wellness account and Flexfits Benefits Program to meet your unique lifestyle needs and a health care spending account to keep your body, mind and soul thriving.

  • You’ll receive a competitive rewards package that includes salary, performance bonus programs, pension plan as well as other perks and programs to help build your personal wealth.

  • You’ll become a BCAA member, with access to the great deals and discounts that go along with it.

  • We’re named one of Canada’s Top Employers for 5 years in a row with a constant focus on how to create a better workplace for all our team members.

  • And…time flies when you’re having fun at Evo!

We’re always looking for amazing people like you. Apply today.
