Someone who’s equally comfortable in meetings and on the production floor, hands-on, self-motivated with a detail-focused approach. A team player who can train, mentor, and elevate our quality culture. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certified internal auditor (ISO 9001 and / or CSA N299 preferred). Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys). Position Overview :
The Quality Supervisor leads and oversees all quality assurance activities in our manufacturing operations. This position is critical to ensuring our products meet strict internal and external standards, including ISO 9001 : 2015 and CSA N299.3. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of driving a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.
What you will be doing :
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 : 2015 and CSA N299.3 standards.
- Conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead efforts in process control, inspection, and testing procedures to ensure product compliance with specifications and regulations. Support and create Quality Core Documentation such as Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, and GR&R.
- Maintain quality documentation and records, including control of non-conforming products.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance.
- Train and support staff in quality practices and QMS compliance.
- Analyze quality data, create reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Manage supplier quality, including qualification, audits, and performance evaluation.
- Propose improvements to the production process.
- Monitor equipment usage to ensure safety and discard any that do not meet requirements.
- Keep measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
- Use gauges (such as calipers and micrometers) to measure products. Perform inspections on raw, in-process, and finished goods.
- Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans to determine causes of product defects and reworks.
