Job description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Team Leader to join our night shift operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing departmental workflows, providing technical support, and ensuring the continuous efficiency of our production equipment.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Guelph
Shift: Nights (11:15 pm – 7:15 am)
Payrate: $110,000- $120,000

Please note in order to be considered for this role you MUST have either a 433a or a 442/309a license.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize production yields
Technical Support: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair specialized equipment in a timely manner
Personnel Management: Handle scheduling, performance feedback, training, succession planning, and the administration of company policies
Safety & Quality: Lead safety initiatives, including inspections and audits (LPA and 5S), to maintain high organizational standards
Inventory & Logistics: Responsible for ordering and tracking equipment parts and supplies
Continuous Improvement: Support cross-functional teams and lead initiatives to improve management systems and production results

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Certification: Must hold a valid Millwright Certificate of Qualification or a Provincial Electrician Ticket
Experience: 3–5 years of related work experience, including prior supervisory experience
Technical Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair
industrial maintenance equipment and proficiency in MS Office
Leadership Traits: Strong ability to coach and mentor a team with a focus on results and safety
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
