Firehouse Subs, founded by real firefighters, is known for its hearty, flavor-packed subs and welcoming team environment. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supervisors to join our Kelowna location. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced food service environment.

As a Supervisor, you have the ultimate responsibility for safeguarding the financial success of the restaurant and maintaining the reputation of the brand. The role has a strong hospitality element, ensuring that the restaurant delivers high-quality food and drink and good customer service. In this role, you will lead by example, motivate team members, and create a positive and energetic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for customer service, product quality, and overall guest satisfaction
• Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment
• Deliver an exceptional customer and in-store experience
• Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact
• Support efficient and high-quality store operations
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the restaurant, equipment, and physical premises
• Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all food safety, health, sanitation, and security guidelines
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions in accordance with company policies
• Support employee development through coaching, training, and mentorship

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
• Ability to lead a diverse team while promoting teamwork and collaboration
• Experience handling cash transactions and basic financial reporting
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Long-term commitment is required

Schedule Information:

• Morning Shift: Starting at 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Mid Shift: Starting at 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Closing Shifts: Starting at 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Thursday, Friday and Weekend availability is mandatory
• Holiday availability is preferred

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: Starting at $19.25/hour

Expected Hours: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week (additional hours available based on performance)
