Role Summary:The Driver Coordinator (Days) is the main point of contact between the backbone of the transportation industry (our AZ Drivers) and the organization. This role is responsible for effectively coordinating a group of drivers to success through continual communication from the shipment pick-up to delivery and ensuring the appropriate internal departments (i.e. Customer Service, Breakdown, Customs) are aware of any updates.
Hours of Work:Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm – 7:30am

Key Accountabilities:In this role, you will:
- Participating in and supporting driver retention initiatives
- Maintaining fair and equitable distribution of work
- Communicating dispatch information as required
- Monitoring driver performance/miles and reefer requirements
- Monitoring and responding to driver satellite messages
- Assisting with the development of the required driver skills i.e.: Customs, Hazmat, Hours of Service, Policy, Regulations, Satellites, etc.
- Assisting with solutions regarding any driver concerns
- Assisting with driver inquiries - payroll, miles etc.
- Updating customer websites relative to the position/shift
- Communicating and problem solving with customers as required
Other Duties- Performs other duties as required
QualificationsWe’re looking for someone who brings:
Education & Experience:- Secondary School Diploma is required
- Knowledge of truckload dispatch an asset
- ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset
- TMW experience an asset
Skills & Attributes:- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communications skills (written and verbal)
- Strong self-discipline and initiative
- Creative and effective problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
