Job description

Are you a detail-driven professional who loves turning complexity into clarity? Do you take pride in accuracy, organization, and delivering service that people can count on? If so, our Billing Administrator role could be the opportunity you've been looking for! In this role, you'll ensure every invoice is accurate, complete, and on time while collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Finance to keep billing processes running smoothly. You'll play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, resolving billing issues, and supporting the efficiency that keeps our projects and partnerships strong.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILLING ADMINISTRATOR

As a Billing Administrator, your day will be filled with collaboration, precision, and purpose. You'll prepare invoices tied to project milestones, verify job costing and tax details, and ensure all documentation is complete before sending it out. You'll work closely with internal teams to review data, resolve billing questions, and keep everything moving on schedule. Whether you're organizing records, processing adjustments, or supporting month-end reporting, your accuracy and commitment to service will help ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients. Every detail you manage will contribute directly to our success and to the trust our clients place in us.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of billing, accounting, or administrative experience
  • Experience in construction billing or electronic billing systems is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Intermediate communication and customer service skills
  • Solid understanding of billing procedures and accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or invoicing systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial tax application in billing is an asset
