Are you looking for a fantastic, fun leadership position where creativity, variety, quality and care really count? Join our team of passionate performers at Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods! We strive to deliver the best – by offering an enticing variety of the Finest and Freshest products and the highest level of customer service in our stores.

We are currently seeking a Store Operations Manager to share our vision of providing superior quality products. In this position you will report to the Director of Operations and will join the company's senior leadership team to oversee the daily operations of one of our retail grocery stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring an everyday extraordinary customer focused shopping experience where prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service is provided at all times.
  • Provide and communicate the strategic vision and direction for the store.
  • Providing a work environment that enables each team member to perform to their greatest potential by living our core values and inviting input from all sources.
  • Recruits and retains top talent, provides leadership and mentorship for those who wish to grow.
  • Maintains an unwavering commitment to food safety and sanitation; ensuring that food safety and cleanliness standards are met and consistently adhered to and that the store is a safe and healthy environment for our customers and team members.
  • Openly and honestly provides regular performance feedback and coaching to team members. Can identify areas of development and follows up with mentoring plans for direct reports.
  • Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods brand champion, living our mission and core values, holding team members to a high standard.
  • Leading by example in all areas of the business, this role requires an "all in" approach

As a candidate you have the following requirements:

A retail professional and a vision-oriented leader who is passionate about food, strategic visions, and motivated to grow the business. You have above average oral and written communication skills, full knowledge of retail operations and skills throughout the entire store. Must have experience with Microsoft Office and in fast paced retail management, grocery preferred. You have the equivalent of a High School diploma with an Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience.

You must be:

  • Passionate – About food, deliver uniqueness and innovation every day, by pioneering new trends in food and service and anticipating the desires of customers.
  • Accountable – delivering on responsibilities and deadlines, holding others accountable to standards and expectations.
  • Adaptable – anticipates and plans for changing situations, reacts constructively to setbacks.
  • Leader – uses authority in a fair manner; knows when to delegate. Keeps focused on the big picture while implementing short term goals.
  • Team Developer – identifies, recruits and contributes to the development of strong leaders that will contribute to the growth of Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods.
  • Change Manager – able to carefully balance immediate operational needs with big picture positive change.
  • Customer Service Focused – Role model, coach, and reinforce customer service expectations on a daily basis for all staff.
  • Financially Responsible – Responsible to ensure efficient operation of the business to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted KPIs.
