We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Developer to lead and support the design development and execution of data migration and ETL processes for a large-scale modernization project. The role involves working with complex legacy datasets identifying and resolving data quality issues and ensuring accurate and secure transformation of financial data into modern systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL tools database architecture and system integration with proven ability to analyze structure and optimize data for business insight and addition to development and testing this role includes maintaining enhancing and supporting applications to ensure system reliability and performance throughout the transition process.

Tasks

Liaise with business units and program areas to ensure solutions meet current and long-term organizational needs.

Align the development team with established application architecture standards.

Develop and maintain high-quality code for complex functional and technical designs with minimal defects.

Define and document non-functional requirements including performance availability and recoverability.

Assess technical impacts early in the process and recommend optimized design approaches to streamline development.

Produce technical design documents database structures and application architecture for mid-to-high complexity systems.

Identify and implement the best technical design solutions while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

Promote reuse of existing components and frameworks to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Innovate and introduce efficient methods to improve application performance and maintainability.

Review and provide feedback on technical designs prepared by other developers recommending improvements where needed.

Evaluate the quality of deliverables and take proactive steps to enhance solution reliability.

Conduct and support performance and penetration testing and troubleshoot system-level issues.

Diagnose root causes of application issues and propose corrective solutions.

Track and report progress timelines and deliverables accurately.

Contribute to application lifecycle planning and assist with release management.

Identify and coordinate release schedules and service request priorities with stakeholders.

Ensure planned releases remain on schedule and align with business objectives.

Requirements
