Location: Squamish, BCWage : 24.50/ hourSecuriguard is currently hiring Full Time /Part-Time/On-Call Security Guards for our Squamish operations. If you're dependable, professional, and committed to providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.In this role, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment while serving as a visible presence for our client. You'll work independently and as part of a team, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and ensuring site policies are followed at all times. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and site perimeters to maintain a safe and secure environment.Monitor access points by verifying identification, controlling entry, and enforcing site procedures.Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and general inquiriesplete scheduled equipment inspections and document the condition and location of site assets.Respond to alarms, emergencies, medical incidents, and security concerns in a calm and professional manner.Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.Monitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious activity when required.Perform routine inspections of fencing, gates, and other security infrastructure.Maintain effective radio communication with supervisors and team members throughout each shift.Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, equipment issues, or policy violations.Assist during emergency situations, including evacuations and first-response procedures.Follow all company policies, client expectations, and site-specific operating procedures.QualificationsValid BC Security Worker Licence.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.Reliable transportation to and from the work site.Physically capable of standing, walking, and conducting patrols throughout the shiftfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications.Basic First Aid certification is considered an asset.Previous security experience is preferred but not required.Why Join Securiguard?Competitive wage of $24.50/hourExtended Health and Dental benefitsPaid training and ongoing professional developmentFlexible scheduling and overtime opportunitiesEmployee recognition programs and appreciation eventsDiscounted Cineplex movie ticketsSupportive team environment with opportunities for advancement At Securiguard, we live by our R.E.A.C.H. values:Respect · Empathy · Accountability · Courtesy · HonestyAt Securiguard, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and employee growth.
