Job description

Our team is growing, and Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetal.com) is hiring a CWB Certified Welder to join our dynamic team based in Delta’s Tilbury Park.

Position Details:

  • Shift: Night Shift.
  • Days: Monday to Thursday.
  • Hours: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM (10 Hours).
  • Pay: $30 - $40 (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up components for welding according to specifications.
  • Select welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
  • Utilize angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Welding proficiency in all positions; TIG is an asset.
  • Experience with aluminum, stainless, is an asset.
  • Clear communication skills in English.
