Cella by Randstad Digital is actively recruiting on behalf of a leading organization in North York for an experienced Digital Communications Specialist.

In this dynamic, hybrid role, you will lead social media channels and drive digital storytelling across the brand. We are seeking an exceptional writer and strategic communicator who excels at taking complex, technical, or regulatory topics and translating them into clear, engaging, customer-focused content. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to build audience engagement through creative campaign strategies, this is an outstanding opportunity to elevate a major brand's digital presence.

Advantages
Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a balanced schedule with 3 days in the North York office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and 2 days working remotely.

Impactful Storytelling: Lead digital narrative and social strategy for a major, highly visible organization.

Cutting-Edge Tools: Leverage modern, AI-enabled content creation and analytics platforms to drive performance.

Collaborative Environment: Work alongside cross-functional teams spanning marketing, operations, public affairs, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities
Develop, plan, and execute multi-channel social media strategies and campaigns that boost brand awareness and community engagement.

Write, edit, and curate compelling content that simplifies complex organizational, operational, or regulatory topics for a broad public audience.

Manage editorial content calendars and maintain alignment with brand guidelines, accessibility requirements, and digital governance standards.

Monitor digital channels and sentiment to proactively protect and enhance brand reputation, participating in an issue/emergency response on-call rotation as needed.

Analyze campaign performance metrics and audience insights to continuously optimize content and report recommendations to key stakeholders.

Build strong internal relationships across various business units and coordinate with external vendor or agency partners when required.

Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in digital communications, content strategy, social media management, journalism, or public relations.

Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Communication Skills: Mastery of the English language with top-tier written, verbal, and editing abilities tailored for public audiences.

Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to manage social analytics, track engagement metrics, and turn data into actionable content strategies.

Adaptability: Excellent judgment in reputation-sensitive situations and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Asset/Bonus: Prior experience working within energy, utilities, public affairs, government, or other regulated industries, alongside familiarity with crisis communications or CMS tools.

Summary
This high-visibility position is filling quickly. If your background aligns with the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply promptly by submitting your resume along with a portfolio or relevant writing and work samples demonstrating your digital communications impact.
