What is the Opportunity?
This role offers the opportunity to support major utility construction projects by leading the development and execution of site‑based quality programs. As a Quality Advisor, you will participate in the creation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspect and validate installation work in the field, and ensure compliance with civil, structural, and electrical standards.
Working closely with construction managers, project managers, and contractor teams, you’ll apply your hands‑on trade or construction experience to strengthen installation quality across utility substations.

What You'll Do Here
- Develop, implement, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) from project initiation through field verification, documentation, and closeout.
- Produce accurate documentation, interpret codes, read construction drawings, and manage quality records using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Coordinate, schedule, and complete inspections within the defined scope of work.

- Perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment; tasks may involve repetitive data entry and periods of prolonged sitting.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
- A minimum of 5 years of experience implementing quality programs on construction or job‑site projects, with strong working knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and utility construction standards.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities with emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines with professionalism and confidence.
- Proven ability to multitask, organize work, and manage competing priorities such as meetings, documentation, and coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization, from field staff to leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Training in safety practices and experience within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of civil, structural, and electrical construction principles and standards is considered an asset.

Compensation Range: The expected salary for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
