Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Markham, ON
Type: 8 month Contract (37.5 hours per week; Mon to Fri)

Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Project Manager to manage 3 or 4 projects in projects portfolio.
The successful candidate will:
-Be well versed in communicating updates in a timely & efficient manner
-Adept at interacting with different levels (from analysts to Senior management) in the organization as well as with different audiences.
-Possess a very strong balance between IT Technical Skills and PM/Leadership skills.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
-Ensure all the Project documentation is in place as per requirements and J&J SDLC governance model; including compliance requirements.
-Engage and Manage Project Resources (People and associated Budget).
-Manage communications and expectations with all stakeholders.
-Perform all inherent activities to a PM role in terms of Planning, Resolution of potential issues and Commitments to specific deadlines.
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
-3-5 years of project management experience in IT
-Minimum of 10 client/server projects.
-Minimum of 2 Agile projects.
-Minimum of 2 e-Comm projects.
-Outsourced and/or distributed team management.
-Solid foundation of project management principals.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-IT Background (including Client/Server and eCommerce Technologies)
-Strong ability to manage resources estimations
-Experience managing people and budget
Assets – Nice to Have:
PMP Certified.
