Summary
Weight Room Attendants will provide supervision and instruction to patrons regarding safe and effective use of fitness equipment. Serving a diverse community, employees will build co-operative and positive relationship with the public.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Instructs patrons on effective use of equipment, shows modifications or suggests alternative exercises if a particular piece of equipment is already in use.
- Refers patrons with specific exercise questions to the Fitness Coordinator.
- Monitors weight room for safe use of equipment.
- Communicates weight room etiquette to patrons.
- Responds to public relations in a positive, courteous manner.
- Ensures cleanliness of weight room and other fitness areas.
- Performs regular safety checks on equipment.
- Follows all policies, procedures and standards of the CRD.
