In this permanent, full-time position, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to support the delivery and enhancement of enterprise geospatial solutions that enable critical infrastructure and asset management initiatives. You will play a key role in gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, supporting system integrations, and helping deliver innovative GIS solutions using the Esri platform. This is a hybrid position and candidates must be located near one of CGI's Atlantic offices in Halifax, NS; Moncton, NB; Fredericton, NB; Stratford, PEI; or St. John's, NL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for GIS initiatives.

• Analyze and map current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Esri-based GIS solutions, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and field applications.
• Work with technical teams to support system integrations between GIS and enterprise applications, including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions such as IBM Maximo.
• Support data mapping, data validation, testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management initiatives.
• Assist with solution design discussions and ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, business process documentation, and training materials as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of geospatial and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including at least 3 years supporting GIS, geospatial, or mapping-related initiatives.
• Experience working within the Esri ecosystem, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and mobile or field applications.
• Working knowledge of geospatial data and infrastructure assets, including distribution networks, utility assets, or other asset-intensive environments.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating workshops, process mapping, writing user stories, and preparing functional specifications.
• Experience supporting system implementation projects, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
• Knowledge of system integration concepts, data mapping, and enterprise application environments.
• Experience integrating GIS with IBM Maximo or another Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or work management platform is considered a strong asset.
• Experience supporting electric utilities, energy companies, municipalities, telecommunications, or other infrastructure-based organizations is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery environments is preferred.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Esri certifications are considered assets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Geography, GIS, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
