Our client, a non-profit organization in the education sector, is seeking a hands-on and experienced
Senior Financial Analyst (Contract – approximately 6 months) with a
strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent. This role is critical during a period of organizational transformation and requires a seasoned professional who can quickly step in, support key financial processes, and provide meaningful insights to leadership. If you are a self-motivated finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to quickly adapt, this could be an excellent opportunity.
This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting while supporting a collaborative and evolving organization during a key transition period. You will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and contributing to strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level.

Responsibilities: - Support month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including plan vs. actuals
- Contribute to forecasting and year-end financial projections
- Partner with stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial audiences
- Support financial reporting for senior leadership, audit committees, and board presentations
- Maintain hands-on involvement in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Collaborate closely with a small, high-performing finance team
- Provide stability and analytical support during a period of organizational change
Qualifications: - CPA designation preferred
- Proven experience in a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to “hit the ground running” with minimal onboarding
- Experience working with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics environments is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Available to start the contract right away.
