Job description

National Warranty Writer (RV / Automotive)

$–$ per hour | Full-Time | Abbotsford, BC

Are you an experienced Warranty Writer looking to take the next step in your career?

Join Fraserway RV, Canada's largest coast-to-coast RV dealership, and use your expertise to support service teams across the country. This is more than a dealership warranty role - you'll play a key part in our national operations while enjoying long-term career growth with a stable, family-owned company.

If you have experience processing warranty claims in the RV, automotive, heavy truck, agricultural equipment, powersports, or related industries, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Review repair work orders to determine warranty eligibility and ensure claims are complete and accurate.
  • Interpret manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Determine financial responsibility between manufacturer warranty, vendor, internal, or customer pay.
  • Obtain required authorizations and submit accurate warranty claims.
  • Monitor submitted claims, resolve denials or shortages, and maximize warranty recovery.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Service Managers, and manufacturer representatives to ensure repairs meet warranty requirements.
  • Provide guidance on warranty documentation, repair validation, and submission best practices.
  • Support technicians by coordinating repair procedures and technical guidance with manufacturers when required.
  • Identify warranty trends, assist with recalls, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Thrive in a collaborative national team environment while managing priorities independently.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • Experience in warranty administration, warranty writing, service advising, or warranty claims processing, preferably within the RV, automotive, heavy truck, agricultural equipment, or powersports industries.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty programs, OEM policies, and claim submission processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer, data entry, and documentation skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence.

Assets

  • Experience with IDS or similar dealer management software.

  • Experience supporting multiple dealership or service locations.

  • Familiarity with recalls, manufacturer authorizations, and warranty recovery processes.

Why Join Fraserway RV?

Since 1969, Fraserway RV has grown into Canada's only coast-to-coast RV Sales, Rentals, Parts, and Service dealership. As a family-owned company, we've built our reputation on exceptional customer service, continuous growth, and investing in our people.

To be Canada's #1 RV Adventure Company, inspiring individuals and families to embrace the RV lifestyle, create lifelong memories, and connect with nature.

Our Mission

  • Employee & Family Bursary Program.
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Employee discounts on RV purchases, rentals, service, and parts.
