Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team at a metal manufacturing facility where you will primarily operate bending machines for metal. This role requires versatility, as you will engage in various manual labor tasks including moving material with fellow laborers and occasionally retrieving materials from the yard. You will set up products on the machine, adjust settings after training, and perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the rebar bending machine.
• Assist in manual labor and moving rebar with other workers.
• Set up products on the machine and change settings once trained.
• Retrieve rebar from the yard as needed.
• Ensure the safe handling and heavy lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The facility is a production-type environment that is loud and dirty, with many machines running simultaneously. Some work may be outdoors as trailers bring in rebar to the yard. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible earlier start times during summer. Employees should wear work clothes and steel-toed shoes, with all other PPE provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
