Location: Harley, ON (Between Brantford and Woodstock)

Are you the person everyone calls when a machine stops cooperating? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently?

Stubbe’s is looking for a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician – Licensed Electrician to join our maintenance team in Harley, Ontario. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical equipment and systems that keep our precast concrete manufacturing facilities moving.

If you’re a licensed 442A or 309A electrician who enjoys variety, hands-on work, and the satisfaction of fixing what others can’t this could be the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Working safely and helping maintain a strong safety-first culture.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment.
  • Completing scheduled preventive maintenance and reporting your findings to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Supporting the start-up and installation of new equipment, electrical runs, and services.
  • Operating equipment such as overhead cranes, concrete batching systems, Genie booms, forklifts, and powered hand tools.
  • Coordinating equipment downtime with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete repairs and projects efficiently.
  • Recording completed work and maintenance activities in our CMMS.
  • Working flexible hours when required to help keep production running.

What You Bring

  • A valid 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician license.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and solid mechanical aptitude.
  • The ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical practices and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
  • A solid understanding of PLC logic, motor starters, VFDs, Ethernet, and PROFIBUS communications.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A strong work ethic, dependable attitude, and motivation to get the job done right.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort using technology such as mobile phones, email, and maintenance software.
  • Your own standard tools related to the trade.
