Our client, a leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Machine Operator - Plastics to join their team. As a Machine Operator - Plastics, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, confidence in handling physically demanding tasks, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Labour
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $21 per hour
Shift: 8:30am to 4:30pm (Mon to Fri)
What's the Job?
- Operate and maintain various hand tools, edgers, sanders, circular saws, and trimming tools to support manufacturing activities
- Run machines and assist with full-time trimming work as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations
- Assist in learning and mastering different hand tools and machinery
- Support team members to meet production targets efficiently and effectively
What's Needed?
- Ability to use and learn various hand tools and power equipment confidently
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Availability to work full-time hours from 9-5, with flexibility for shift adjustments
- Comfort with physically demanding work environments
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
