MatrixHR is currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a long term project located in BC.
Position Overview : We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team for a long-term role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipefitting, a strong understanding of industry standards, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in various settings (commercial, industrial, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation procedures.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping systems and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Document work performed and maintained accurate records as required.
