In this role, you will be responsible for installing and testing piping systems that deliver water, gases, and chemicals throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities

• Install piping systems for the delivery of water, gases, and chemicals throughout the plant
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing and verification of piping installations
• Assemble complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) for piping installations
• Interpret engineering site instructions, drawings, and general mechanical specifications
• Determine proper layout, routing, and supports for piping and related fittings
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and site requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Red Seal Certified Pipefitter (verification required)
• Extensive hands-on experience in industrial or plant environments
• Proven experience installing, testing, and commissioning:
  • Water, gas, chemical, and hydraulic piping systems
• Strong ability to independently:
  • Review drawings
  • Define project scope
  • Compile complete and accurate BOMs
• Experience working with:
  • PVC piping
  • Carbon steel
  • Stainless steel
• Demonstrated expertise in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
• Strong safety mindset with experience following:
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Safe work practices and hazard controls
• High level of professionalism and pride in workmanship
• Clear communicator who works well within a team
• Ability to work respectfully and productively in a diverse workforce

Additional Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience with FRP piping systems
• Field welding experience
• Familiarity with oxygen service piping
• Knowledge of other mechanical systems, including pump service and troubleshooting

Work Environment & Schedule

• Work in a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant with modern equipment and installations
• Facility scheduled to be fully operational by June 2026
• Clean, safe, and progressive industrial environment
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 . – 4:00 .

This is a Permanent position based out of Delta, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
