Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: CAD $140,000 – $150,000 per annum

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Administration, data migration, and data quality management to lead enterprise-scale migration initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with extensive experience in Salesforce data models, complex data validation, and migration strategies within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data specialists to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant migration of critical business data into Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce data migration initiatives, including planning, execution, validation, and post-migration support.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies, mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Write and optimize complex SOQL queries to validate migrated data and ensure data integrity.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex data quality and migration issues.
  • Manage data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define migration requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure migrated data complies with organizational data governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain migration documentation, data mapping documents, validation reports, and technical procedures.
  • Identify migration risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SOQL, including writing complex queries for data validation and analysis.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, including: Objects Fields Relationships Record Types
  • Experience with Salesforce data migration tools, including: Salesforce Data Loader Workbench ETL tools
  • Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, data quality, and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Salesforce Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud.
  • Experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementation or migration projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Experience migrating patient or healthcare data.
  • Experience working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations.
  • Knowledge of Canadian privacy regulations, including HIPAA, PIPEDA, and HIPEDA.
  • Exposure to big data technologies such as Dataproc, Apache Spark, or similar platforms.
